Collaboratively operated by UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco, UBCP links physicians in world-renowned medical systems to provide patients with integrated care that results in better health outcomes at lower costs.

As a member of UBCP, you’ll be part of a clinically integrated network.

Your practice will be identified as part of UCSF Health, a trusted brand with high credibility in the region, the country and the world.

  • UCSF Medical Center consistently places in the top 10 of US hospitals in its annual ranking.

Our goal is to enable our partners to provide excellent care. We survey our physician members and our employees periodically to get feedback on how UBCP is meeting their needs. Our 2018 survey revealed some key findings:

  • Physician engagement is 4.12 which is 0.42 better than the national clinic physician average

UBCP members may take an active leadership role in the group.

  • Leadership Council. This group meets quarterly and provides a platform for physicians to discuss issues that are important to them and their colleagues. It also fosters best practices relative to clinical operations and quality outcomes, it ties our clinically integrated network together.
  • E.H.R. Governance. This group collaborates about Epic functionality and optimization and is comprised of partners, employed and affiliated physician groups in collaboration with UCSF IT leadership.
  • Quality committee. Participate in setting metrics for performance and outcomes.
  • CME programs. Participate in dynamic presentations with leading medical experts from the UCSF Health enterprise.
